My name is Brenda. I am 54 and I have been a Disney pin collector for about seven years. I am married and have been for 30 years. My hubby is a Disney fan but not into the pin collecting so they are all mine mine mine...LOL. I guess I am just a collector in general as I love Harmony Kingdom boxes especially the Disney ones, celebrity autographs, toys, and a number of other things.

I also work at the huge Sci Fi/Fantasy/Gaming convention that occurs in Atlanta every Labor Day, Dragoncon. That is where I get a lot of my autographs and at present I work with celebrities while they are signing. My hubby works for the actual convention itself so another thing we share. I have one son, Ian, who is 28 years old and married. He was active Coast Guard but has since gone reserves and is teaching at a high school until he can find something more fitting his experience. He has two wonderful little boys, William, age 3, and Matthew, age 1. Matthew is our miracle baby. He was born without any kidney function so we are waiting impatiently for a kidney transplant. But you would never know anything was wrong with him if you didn't see his "robot parts" as we like to call them. He is a bright happy little thing.

My mother lives with us and occupies a huge basement apartment downstairs. I am her general chauffeur and care taker. So at present due to her health problems and those of my grandsons I do not work outside the home. I do sell items on Ebay to help pay bills.

I love animals and we presently have our queen of the house...Ariel...our cat we adopted. She appears to be a Ragamuffin breed but who knows. All we know is she is one unusual cat with a lot of dog tendencies. She loves to lay upside down and look at you...way too funny.

I love trading pins and can list some of my favorites I collect but honestly I am a pin addict...I need Pins Anonymous. I can see a beautiful pin that has a character on it I normally don't like and I have to have the pin. Right now however I have suddenly developed a fascination for the Mad Hatter and am looking for all pins that have him on it. I collect Cars, Wall-E, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Goofy, Chip and Dale, Tinker Bell, Haunted Mansion, Tower Of Terror just to name a few...LOL.

So that is me in a nutshell.
